On the eve of my 18th Birthday

So I guess I made it.... What does it mean being 18? That you are free from your parents? And adult? You all of a sudden have your life together, and you know what to do? No, I think not. At least not how the world sees it. I have so much to learn , grow, and expand myself become someone that can stand on her own two feet. That's what I am striving towards and tomorrow I will take my first step.
